Universal College Application Essay
Joining college is very exciting for young teenagers who are enthusiastic to learn. It is true that college is one of the most exciting stages of learning and people get to learn a lot, not only in class but other life lessons. It is at the college level where students really mature to adults and they get to make many life changing decisions.
Before joining college the first step that a student takes is to choose a list of possible schools that they would like to join. The student would then narrow down on the list of colleges and universities and remain with a few possible names that they are interested in. After this, the next process is applying to become a student in the college or school of their choice. This involves a college application essay and this is not one of the easiest things to do. You might be having excellent qualifications in terms of grades and other qualifications but the application essay that you will write determines a lot.
Basically, there are three types of college admission essays and these are:

- Common Application
- Universal College Application
Here we are going to look at the Universal college application.
Universal College Application
The Universal college application essay was arrived at as a standard on university application essays. Initially each university and college had its own unique way and specific requirements that students were supposed to submit in an essay form. Nonetheless, in order to come up with a standard essay and standard requirements; the Universal College Application essay was adopted.
Currently the Universal College Application is accepted in most colleges and universities. Unlike other college application essays, the Universal College Application Essay does not state exactly what the universities and colleges should require of the applicants. The main aspect of the Universal College Application is that it requires colleges to be accredited by the National Association for College Admission Counselling Statements and Policies of Good Practice. This way the students wouldn’t be subjected to teacher recommendations and such like things in order to be eligible to participate in an application process that is standardized.
However, it is worth noting that the Universal College Application essay is a lot more common to the Common Application Essay. Thus, if you are familiar with the Common Application Essay, you wouldn’t have any problems with the Universal College Application Essay.
